Gengo integrates with Magento to localize ecommerce websites
If you run an online store, there’s a good chance you’re using Magento. There are currently over 150,000 websites that use Magento’s powerful open-source ecommerce solutions, including brands like The North Face, Olympus and Nike.
By integrating with mega ecommerce channels like Amazon, Rakuten and eBay, Magento has made it easy for its users to reach a global audience. Now, Gengo has jumped on board to make Magento even better by offering professional translations into 36 languages straight from your dashboard.
Developed by our friends Transfluent, this Magento plugin is designed to bridge the gap between your ecommerce website and the rest of the world. To get started, simply install the plugin. Once your install is finished, you can choose any product in your store and order a translation. Translation orders are sent directly to one of our 8,000+ translators and integrated back into your store without any further admin work.
If your store is categorized in a specific fashion, you can customize what parts of your store get translated. Choose between name, title, description and keywords to get an instant quote for both time and money. You can even give translators further context by giving them instructions on proper tone and a link back to your page.
Ecommerce and Gengo go hand-in-hand. We’ll be announcing new ecommerce integrations soon, so whatever your platform you’ll be able to leverage Gengo’s affordable translation. Read our White Paper for more information on how to go global with any online store.
