A picture is worth a thousand words

To provide accurate translations, comprehension of the source content is key. At Gengo, we strive to provide customers with the most effective means to explain to translators how they want their content translated. This is done through the use of style guides, glossaries and the ability to ask questions or discuss issues directly with our translators.

We’re taking this a step further by allowing our API customers to link any type of file to a comment. Translators can now view photos, videos and audio clips inline, and other file types can be downloaded directly.

Comment Attachments

For context-sensitive content like product descriptions, user reviews and stock photography, this adds another dimension to aid translators’ understanding, and ultimately improves the quality of the translation.

Developers can get started with this new feature straightaway, and if you need any assistance our support team are ready to help!
